During the course of the Revolutionary War, General George Washington addressed his troops by giving them a vision of the future of the United States of America by saying..."The fate of unborn millions will now depend under God, on the courage and conduct of this army. Our cruel and unrelenting enemy leaves us no choice but a brave resistance, or the most abject submission.... We have to resolve to conquer or die." General Washington would some day become our nations first President and be known as the Father of our country. One wonders if General Washington would have encouraged his troops to fight so valiantly for our freedoms and to establish the United States of America if he knew that millions of his future American citizens would be killed as unborn babies in the name of choice through a future medical procedure called Abortion.

Since 1973 with the U.S. Supreme Courts ruling on Roe v Wade it is estimated that over 50 million of our fellow American citizens have been allowed to be killed before they were born by the choice of one or both of their parents. Sadly, the choice to kill so many millions of unborn babies in the United States has been made mostly by individuals who during the passion of sexual intercourse did not think or choose to use any kind of natural family planning or birth control methods. What's more troubling is to learn that many of those abortions were paid with taxpayer dollars.

However, there is good news to report: Taxpayer funding of future abortions can be stopped permanently. How? The answer starts by asking and answering the following two questions:

(1) Are you thankful that your parents did not make the choice to abort you because you were an unwanted pregnancy? If you answered yes the next question you need to ask yourself is:

(2) If you knew that your political activism might make the difference, would you encourage your states U.S. Senators to vote yes to pass a bill that could protect the fate of unborn millions of future American citizens?

Again, if you answered yes, there maybe something that you can do depending on the political position of your states U.S. Senators.

Currently, there is a pending bill before the 112th U.S. Congress called the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act (H.RES.237, H.R.1232, H.R.1488, S.906). Why this bill needs the support of conservatives and Pro-Life American Citizens is that this bill will guarantee that your future federal tax dollars will not be spent on providing Abortion services in the United States of America.

The good news about this bill is that on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 that the U.S. House of Representatives voted and passed the house version of the bill (H.R. 3) by a vote of 251-175. After its passage, this bill was forwarded and placed on the U.S. Senates Legislative Calendar as (S.906) on Monday, May 9, 2011.

As of the posting of this blog article, there are currently 36 U.S. Senators who have Co-Sponsored the U.S. Senate version of this bill and they are waiting for the additional support of 15 U.S. Senators to give this bill the majority it needs to pass this bill. Just think: only 15 votes are needed to guarantee that future federal tax dollars will not be spent on providing Abortion services in the United States of America.

What can you do? First, do the research and see if your states U.S. Senators have Co-Sponsored this bill at: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:s.00906:

If they have, please send them a letter of thanks and then follow up with a phone call to let them know that you appreciate their stand to pass this pending bill. However, if your states U.S. Senators have not Co-Sponsored this bill you need to contact them by letter, phone and or in person and let them know that as their constituent that you want them to vote yes on this pending legislation.
